Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir skipper Parvez Rasool might have been snubbed by Indian Premier League franchises, but his credentials have meant he is set to play ply trade in Bangladesh.
With no cricket to play in couple of months after IPL franchises ignored him, the off-spinning all-rounder has signed for Legends of Rupganj -a premier side in Dhaka Division Premier League.
Soon after conclusion of Vijay Hazare Trophy, Parvez joined Legends of Rupganj squad to play the mega 50-over event in Bangladesh.
Having been ignored by the IPL franchises last year as well, Parvez travelled to Bangladesh to represent Gazi Group of Cricketers. He didnt disappoint his side last year, playing a major role in Gazis title triumph.
This year again, he was approached by many franchises of league, though he opted to play for Legends of Rupganj. The team is lead by Bangladeshi star all-rounder Naeem Islam and accompanied by Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim.
