Srinagar-A one-day awareness camp on drug de-addiction organized by Civil Defence Srinagar was held at Islamia College, Hawal here today.
Experts comprising psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, medical officers, counsellors, social workers, mediation therapists, pharmacists and field workers expressed their views on the topic Drug Abuse is Preventable Behaviour and Drug Addictions is a Treatable Disease.
Dr Muhammad Muzaffar of Police Hospital Srinagar, President Private Schools Association Srinagar, G. M. War, Civil Defence volunteers, members of civil society, Students and staff of the college were present on the occasion.
The programme was coordinated by DySP, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Nighat Aman.
