SrinagarTraffic Police City Srinagar seized two school buses at Jehangir Chowkone each of New ConventGogjibagh and Oak Hill Syed Abad (Soiteng) Padshahibagh who were ferrying 50 & 44 students/staff members respectively in a 32 seater buses.
According to the statement, two buses of SMHS Hospital Kaka Sarai who were ferrying doctors were seized as the drivers of the said vehicles failed to produce any document including Registration/License on demand, two ambulances and one vehicle of Fire and Emergency Services were also seized from Soura which were kept wrongly parked and was obstructing the traffic movement.
Moreover, acting on a public complaint, Traffic Police City Srinagar launched a special drive for wrong / obstructive parking at Soura seized 40 PSVs, 20 LMVs and 15 Two wheelers for violation of MV Act.
Such drives are aimed at removing wrong parking to decongest the City Srinagar. People of City Srinagar are requested to park their vehicles at designated parking places
