Farooq Abdullah, Aga Hassan visit Khankaq Shrine

Srinagar—National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah Senior separatist leader and President Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi Thursday visited Khankah Moula shrine to assess the damage caused to spire in an unfortunate fire incident.

Farooq Abdullah according to reports took assessment of the damaged caused to shrine due to fire.

A number of people gathered around him and provided first hand information about the shrine.

He was accompanied by legislator Khanyar and National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar.

Aga Hasan was deeply distress over the damage caused to the historic shrine. He said it is a tragedy and traumatic for every Muslim.

Aga Hasan said that Khankah Moula Shrine has a rich history where Ameer-e-Kabeer Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (R.A) started his mission of Tawheed. “The Khankah’s and Dargah’s are assets to the people of Kashmir and it is our responsibility and obligation to preserve them,” he said.
