SrinagarThe students of Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) have won seven medals, three of them gold, in all India Tong-Il Moo-Do championship held at Sonipat in Haryana between November 3 and 5.
Twelve GVEI students participated in all India Tong-il moo-do championship held at Sonipat, a statement issued here said. Three students won gold, one silver and three bronze in the championship which was attended by a number of international dignitaries, it said.
Those who bagged gold medals include Jaria Ashaie, Numaan and Azhar Mir. The silver was won by Suhaan Abid while Ali Nayeem, Shahaan Imtiyaz and Zumain Manzoor bagged bronze. The competition was cut-throat as 15 states participated in the championship. We had to work extremely hard to make our mark at the event, the students remarked on their win.
Meanwhile, the chairman of GVEI, MY Wani felicitated the students, their parents and the teachers for this glorious achievement. Our students have always showcased their talent on all platforms and at all levels. Kudos to you all, said Wani.
