SrinagarThe State government on Tuesday transferred SMC Commissioner Dr Shafqat Khan and posted Riyaz Ahmad Wani, Director, Urban Local Bodies as SMC commissioner in his place.
As per an order issued this evening the government repatriated Khan to his parent department, Health and Medical Education.
In the interest of administration, Mr Riyaz Ahmad Wani, KAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, relieving Dr. Shafqat Khan, Health Officer, Srinagar Municipal Corporation of the additional charge.
Dr. Shafqat Khan, Health Officer, Srinagar Municipal Corporation is repatriated to the Health and Medical Education Department, for further posting, the order said.
