SrinagarMilitants Tuesday resorted to indiscriminate firing on a cavalcade of paramilitary CRPF in busy uptown Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar.
Sources said that motor-cycle borne militants targeted a cavalcade of Coy 29 CRPF along Sanat Nagar Bypass in summer capital here. They said that the firing was intense and CRPF also retaliated but there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone on either side.
Soon after the firing, the government forces including police, CRPF and army cordoned off entire area and launched searches to nab the attackers as forces suspect their presence in the same area. However no one was arrested so far.
