SrinagarIn order to remember the victims of October 8, 2005 earthquake, Central Library of the Central University of Kashmir (CUK), Nowgam-I organized an exhibition of the newspaper clippings, covering the destruction in Jammu and Kashmir.
Further, details of major historical earthquakes of the world from 365 AD till date were also displayed showing the year, magnitude/intensity, deaths and places of the affected countries/ areas.
A large number of teaching and non-teaching members, research scholars, students and others visited the exhibition. The photographs of devastating earthquake were also exhibited.
