People Understand Our Compulsions: Mehbooba

Srinagar—Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Monday said that the dream of her father was to restore peace in J&K and put the state on the path of development.

Talking to reporters in Kupwara Mehbooba said the agenda of PDP is to make J&K a bridge of friendship between India and Pakistan.

“People understand our compulsions. People are our strength,” she said.

Mehbooba said it was her father’s dream to restore peace and happiness in Kashmir.

She said there is tension between the two countries and there is also fragile peace in the mainland, so in such a situation people understand the compulsions of PDP. “People know why PDP was formed,” she added.
