3 Govt Offices Gutted in Mysterious Fire

Budgam—A Government building housing three offices gutted in a mysterious fire in Beerwah division of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.

Local sources told CNS that fire started in the building at around 3 am, damaging official records of the three government offices including Social Welfare Department, Board of School Education and Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS).

They said that fire was brought under control after four hours, resulting in massive damage to the offices.

“We have registered a formal case vide FIR number 114/2017 under section 336 RPC and investigation has been started to know the cause of fire,” said a police official.
