ATM stolen from Anantnag recovered

Anantnag—Unknown burglars have stolen an ATM of HDFC Bank in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The incident occurred at Barakpora village of Anantnag district during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

A police official said that ATM has been recovered from Bogam village of Qazigund on Wednesday morning.

An official from the bank told Kashmir News Trust that the ATM carried Rs 7.18 lakh.

It was not immediately known whether the burglars managed to loot cash from the machine.
