Govt Says, Will Safeguard Custodian Properties in JK

Srinagar—Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Abdul Rehman Veeri Monday stressed on safeguarding custodian properties in the state.

The Minister said while visiting different custodian properties in the Srinagar. The Minister was accompanied by MLA Batamaloo Noor Muhammad Sheikh, Custodian General J&K Aijaz Ahmed Bhat, Custodian Kashmir and others officers of the Revenue and Custodian department.

The Minister visited Gund Hasibhat, Panzinara, Barthana, Tengpora in the city and sought on spot report about the status of these custodian assets.

The Minister sought details about date of agreement, rent payment status and agreement status from custodian officials and stressed on following the agreements in letter and spirit.

Veeri stressed on the officers to maintain proper inventory of all the assets of the Custodian department and their classification for optimal use.
