Srinagar—Lashkar-e-Taiba  Friday demanded immediate release of resistance leaders including Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Muhammad Qasim, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Masarat Alam, Mushtaq ul Islam and warned the Delhi of consequences if any untoward happens to them.

The outfit’s spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to news agency GNS quoting its chief Mehmood Shah said the only crime of these leaders is that they demand freedom.“If any kind of harm is imposed upon these Hurriyat leaders, Delhi Sarkar will (have to) pay the price,” the Lashkar chief warned and urged the world’s humanitarian organisations to visit Jammu Kashmir and take notice of “inhumane behaviour of Indian forces” in jails.
