9 held by police in nocturnal raids

Pattan — At least 9 youths have been arrested by police during nocturnal raids from different areas of North Kashmir’s Pattan town in Baramulla district.

Police sources said that a group of youth allegedly attacked some private vehicles on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway near Singhpora Pattan resulting in the injuries of few people.

Taking cognizance of the incident, police conducted nocturnal raids and arrested 9 youths.

Confirming these arrests, Choki Officer Mirgund told CNS formal cases stand registered against these youth.
