Srinagar: All educational institutions in Kashmir valley will remain closed on Monday in the wake of law and order situation created following the killing of Hizb commander Sabzar Ahmad Bhat and his aide.

Meanwhile according to District Magistrate Pulwama all Schools and Colleges will remain closed on May 29 and 30, 2107 for precautionary measure in the District
Moreover authorities at the Kashmir university on Sunday announced the rescheduling of all examinations scheduled on May 29, 30.
In view of concerns expressed by students due to prevailing circumstances, all Kashmir university examinations scheduled to be held on may 29, 2017 (Monday) and may 30, 2017(Tuesday) are postponed, said a KU spokesman.
He said that the fresh dates for the deferred examinations shall be notified separately, later.
The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora Sunday decided to suspend the class work on May 29 and postponed the exams scheduled on Monday.
The examinations scheduled for 29th of May, 2017 at Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora have been postponed, a statement said adding that new dates will be notified separately. As per the statement the class work will also remain suspended on 29th May.
