SRINAGAR: Jahangir Ahmad was the star with both bat and ball that helped Cemtac Stars beat Baba XI in the finals to lift Asif Memorial? Wullar Premier League played at Sheikh Ul Alam Stadium Tarzoo Sopore on Thursday.
Jahangir alongside Shahrukh and Aqib made sure they kept Baba XI to a chaseable total of 156 in the allotted 20 overs. For Baba XI Sajad Ahmad and Shabir Ahmad batted well but failed to play big innings. Jahangir, Shahrukh and Aqib took a brace of wickets each.
Cemtac Stars didn’t sweat much as they scaled down the target in just 14 overs. Jahangir was the anchor of the successful chase making a solid 53. He was ably supported by Ishtiyaq Rasool. Lone for his all-round show was declared man of the match.

Among many awards presented to players, the most valuable award was the Alto car for Man of the tournament and that was presented jointly to Imran Haroon and Ishtiyaq Elahi for their tremendous performances in the event.
Iqbal Shah while speaking at the final ceremony said that he will make full efforts for development of cricket in North Kashmir and provide a turf wicket to the ground.
