Parra for timely completion of work of Kelam and Devsar stadiums

SRINAGAR: Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, along with Executive Engineer J&K State Sports Council and other Sports Council officials Tuesday visited various playing fields of district Kulgam including Kelam and Devsar, an official statement said.

According to the statement, Parra instructed the Executive Engineer Sports Council that ongoing work at both the stadiums be completed within stipulated time so that youth of the area will have an opportunity to prove their mettle in the field of sports.

“The local population hailed the timely action and speeding of work by Sports Council and thanked the government for taking effective measures for speedy completion of the work at both the venues,” the statement said.
