SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir had a fruitful outing in 2nd Martial Arts Games 2017 held at Talkatora Stadium New Delhi, winning six gold medals in kickboxing event.
The gold medalists-all teenagers-including two girls and four boys are eight-year old Laika Mushtaq, 13-year old Anjum Sarwar, 10-year old Shoab Malik, 15-year old Shafqat Fayaz, 13-year old Syed Azim and 14-year old Shoab Ibni Fayaz.
The medlaists will represent Indian in the 11th World Martial Arts Games 2017 to be held in Florida, USA come September.
The three-day National Martial Arts 2017 ended Monday with around 350 boys and girls from 23 states taking part in it.
J&K were declared overall champions in kickboxing event thanks to medals fest, winning six gold, five silver and as many bronze medals.
