DC Anantnag interacts with civil society members, traders’


ANANTNAG: The Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag today held a meeting here today with the members of civil society and representatives of traders associations Anantnag to discuss various issues pertaining to the general public.

The meeting was attended by the SSP Anantnag, ADDC, ADC, other District officers, President and General Secretary of Anantnag Traders Association, prominent personalities and other members of civil society.

The traders association and the civil society apprised the Deputy Commissioner about different issues and concerns.

The Deputy Commissioner assured them of early redressal of all of their genuine issues. Meanwhile, he sought the cooperation of the civil society and the general public in maintaining peace in the district. He said that civil and police administration is meant to benefit of the public and are working dedicatedly for provision of better services to the general public.

With regard to the traffic congestion in the town, the SSP assured that the menace of traffic congestion shall be sought out soon. Meanwhile, he appealed the traders associations in ensuring that the pathways are kept available for the pedestrian walking so that movement of people becomes hassle-free.
