Ansari sets one-month deadline for completion of Gogo Stadium work

SRINAGAR:  Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Waheed Parra, along with Executive Engineer J&K State Sports Council and Sports council Officials Kashmir made a visit to Gogo Stadium Budgam, a statement from Sports Council said on Thursday.

Parra and Co, the statement said, visited the stadium after Services and Sports minister, Imran Raza Ansari directed the team to take stock of the construction work going on in the stadium.

“During his visit to the Sports Stadium, Secretary, J&K State Sports Council instructed the Executive Engineer Sports Council that ongoing filling, leveling of the field must be completed within couple of days,” the statement said.

“The locals of the area hailed the timely action and speeding of work by Sports Council and thanked the government for the stadium,” the stadium said.
