Youth Escapes From Police Custody

Srinagar: A detained youth escaped from a police station in Keegam in Shopian district Monday afternoon.

The police identified the youth as Zubair Ahmad Turray of Shopian town.

According to SSP Shopian Tahir Saleem, Zubair Turray was on “police remand” and he fled from the police station Monday afternoon. 

The police officer said that no weapon was snatched by the youth from the police station during his escape.
