Resistance Leaders Call For Shutdown On Sunday

Srinagar: ‘Joint Resistance Leadership’ has called for complete shutdown on Sunday against the killing of a civilian by Govt forces in Kupwara on Thursday.

According to Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar the Joint Resistance Leadership, comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik have appealed people to observe shutdown on Sunday as a mark of protest against the killing of innocent civilian by forces in Panzgam area in Kupwara.

A civilian Mohammad Yousuf Bhat (61) was killed on Tuesday by forces during protests in Panzgam area.
