Srinagar: Strongly reacting against the statement of Home Minister, Rajnath Singh wherein he warned Kashmiri youth of consequences, the incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Thursday said those who brave bullets cannot be cowed down by such threats.

In a statement, Shah termed Rajnath’s remarks as ‘frustration’ and said Kashmiris are used to such intimidations by the Indian home minister.

“Indian leaders have a weak case; the pro-freedom spirit and resolve of Kashmiris has unnerved New Delhi which has now started issuing intimidations,” he said.

Shah said those who picked up arms to liberate India from British are described as ‘freedom fighters’ while as bullets and pellets are showered on those throwing stones in self-defense.
