BUDGAM:- According to the District Election Officer Budgam, the electors of the district who have not received the Election Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) can produce passport, Driving license, Service Identity cards, Passbooks with photograph issued by Bank or Post Office, PAN card, Smart Card issued by Registrar General of India(RGI) under National Population Register, MNREGA job card, Health Insurance Smart card with photograph issued by the Ministry of Labour, Pension documents with photograph, authenticated photo voter slip issued by the election machinery, official identity card and Aadhar card as alternative to EPIC.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has approved these alternate documents for establishing identity of the electors on poll day.
