Srinagar: Over 30 people sustained injuries after a cement slab of a house collapsed during a marriage ceremony in Srinagar early Wednesday, reports said.
According to KNS, over 30 people including men and women sustained injuries in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday in at Vicharnag locality of Nowshehra quarter of Srinagar when a slab of a house collapsed
The injured persons were shifted to nearby Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).
According to the SKIMS Director, Dr A G Ahanger hospital received at least 30 persons who had sustained injuries during the incident.
Some of the people had received injuries in lower parts of the body while some among them have received injuries in head and other parts of the body. The injured persons are currently undergoing treatment in the institute, he added. (KNS)
