State University Championship 2017:Furqan hattrick powers KU into last four

SRINAGAR: Kashmir University’s Football and Volleyball teams have made it into the semi-finals after winning their respective games Tuesday in the State University Championship 2017 hosted by Jammu University.

According to the statement issued by the varsity, men’s football team overpowered Shri Mata Vishnu Devi University 4-2 thanks to a hattrick from Mir Furqan. Harris was amongst the goals finding the net once to take his side to the semis.

In Men’s volleyball event, Kashmir University had better off Central University, Jammu.

In Women’s volleyball event, Kashmir University defeated Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri in straight three sets.

On Wednesday KU will lock horns with SMVD University Katra for a place in the summit clash.
