14 Cell-phones Recovered from North Kashmir Jail

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police and jail authorities today recovered 14 Cell-Phones from inmates in sub jail Baramulla in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, a police spokesman said this afternoon.
 

He said on a tip off that some incriminating material besides cell phones are b ieng used inside the jail premises, a joint search was conducted by Baramulla Police and Jail authorities today in Sub Jail Baramulla .
 

While conducting the search 14 cell-phones and incriminating material was recovered from the possession of the jail inmates.
 

An FIR has been registered and investigation is on as to how these articles which are not authorised as per jail manual have made entry into jail premises.
