Banks Asked To Report Above Rs 10 Lakh Cash Transactions 

SRINAGAR: DEO Srinagar/Returning officer for Srinagar-2 Parliamentary Constituency has asked the District Lead Bank Manager (DLBM) to provide daily report regarding cash transactions above Rs 10 lakh at any bank in the district as per the instruction of Election Commission of India(ECI).

The said report is to be transmitted to the designated Election Expenditure Observer of ECI, an official spokesperson said.

Checking Cash At Airport

As per the instructions from Election Commission of India (ECI), the Returning Officer Srinagar-2 Lok Sabha Constituency has asked the District Election Officer Budgam to deploy a Static Surveillance Team (SST) at Srinagar Airport for keeping check on the cash flow through Chartered Flights, if any.
