Srinagar: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba Saturday appealed clerics and preachers to make people particularly youth aware about the ill-effects of drugs. “Islam prohibits the use of drugs which is rampant in Kashmir due to policies adopted by India. India has been propagating the culture of drugs in Kashmir,” Mehmood Shah, the LeT chief said in a statement to CNS.

He said that the anti-people policy of Mehbooba Mufti led government has been exposed. “We appeal to youth to stay away from drugs. Societies taking shelter of drugs are doomed to death,” he said and added the India wants to sabotage the ongoing freedom struggle through drug menace.
