2 Persons Arrested With Rs 37 Lakh Old Currency

BUDGAM: Two persons were detained by Railway police with old notes worth Rs 37 lakh in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday morning.

The arrested persons were identified as Farooq Ahmad Labroo and Muhammad Shafi Labroo.

Police said that they were caught while boarding a train at Mazhama Budgam Railway Station.

“Approximately 37 Lakh rupees of old currency of 500 were recovered from them”, police added. (PTK)
