Clashes in Sopore,Tahab after Friday prayers

Sopore: Clashes erupted between the government forces and protesters in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after congregational Friday prayers.

Reports said that after friday prayers ended, youth took to streets at Jamia Masjid and staged pro-freedom protests.

The forces deployed in the area used teargas shells to disperse them, triggering clashes.

 

Meanwhile, in the Tahab area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir, youth clashed with government forces against the civilian killings in Padgampora village of Pulwama district on Thursday .

A local youth Jalal-u-din died due to heart attack while running for safety during clashes that erupted near  encounter site in Padgampora.
