Soldiers Have Taken Rawat’s Threat As A License To Kill Kashmiris: Rasheed

Incumbent Langate lawmaker Er Rasheed has said that New Delhi has turned complete blind and hostile towards people of Kashmir and the arrogance and egoistic attitude is not allowing it to understand the ground realities.

While reacting to Padgampora Pulwama encounter in which dozens of civilians were injured and a sixteen year old teenager Aamir Nazir and another person Jalal-ud-din were killed, Er Rasheed said that the incident is painful but at the same time it proves that situation has gone out of hands of New Delhi.

He said, “Though security forces have been targeting unarmed civilians from the day one, the threats of Indian Army Chief Bipan Rawat have given them a license to kill Kashmiris. Let New Delhi and its puppets answer what forced thousands of masses to risk their lives to try to save the lives of two slain militants killed in the encounter.”

Rasheed in a statement said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti seems to have given up her basic duties towards people of the state and does not bother to control even her own police to be just in power she is acting like an OGW to security forces and has given forces a freehand to do what they want, just to ensure that she remains in good books of New Delhi”.
