Handwara: Hailing the increasing support in favour of oppressed Kashmiris in different universities of India incumbent Langate lawmaker, Er Rasheed has termed the intensions of central govt to bring Aazadi slogans under sedition law, an act of frustration of Indian state.
In a statement issued on Friday, Er Rasheed said, Not only ultra nationalists but biased media and other arrogant forces in India have started feeling the heat from the events taking place in JNU, Ramjas College, and streets of New Delhi and elsewhere. The way new generation of Indians is openly supporting plebiscite in Kashmir, it is evident that people have begun understanding things better.
The firebrand lawmaker said that Kashmiris respect and appreciate the support being offered to their resistance movement by students, scholars and intellectuals in different parts of India.
The reports about strengthening sedition law are ample proof to say that BJP govt at the centre is getting much scared of Aazadi slogans at the streets of New Delhi. He added that New Delhi cannot avoid Kashmir resolution always and will have to hear at least the saner voices within India.
