Man killed in scuffle in Anantnag: Police

Srinagar : A man was killed in a scuffle between two groups in Anantnag district, Police said on Friday

According to the statement , the police spokesman said that information was received by Police Post Uttersoo regarding the scuffle between two families at Bochin Uttersoo on some land dispute. 

“One person identified as Ghulam Rasool Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat was critically injured in this scuffle and was shifted to hospital by his family for treatment,” the spokesman added.

On this information Uttersoo police arrested two persons who were identified as Javaid Ahmad Bhat and Showkat Ahmad Bhat sons of Abdul Khaliq resident of Bochin Uttersoo.

The said person succumbed to his injuries today in the hospital.

The spokesman said that a case FIR number 13/2017 under section 307 /302 RPC was registered in police Post Uttersoo and investigation was taken up. (KNS)
