Jammu: Two people were killed and four others got injured in separate road accidents across Jammu region.
“An old man died when he was crushed to death in Arnas area of Reasi district,” police here said.
Police said that a man identified as Chanday Ram(65), resident of Dharmari, Arnas died this afternoon after crushed by the bus after he stepped down from the vehicle.
“He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed,” police added.
The driver namely Sher Mohammad have been taken into custody, police said.
In another incident, a motorcyclist was hit by a truck in Bari Brahmana area of Samba district.
A motory-cyclist identified as Dharam Singh(26), son of Prem Singh of Billawar, district Kathua this morning died on the spot when hit by a truck near Bari Brahmana, police said.
However, four people got injured in a road accident near Patoli area in the outskirts of Jammu city on Jammu- Akhnoor road this morning.
Police said that accident occurred when speedily driven car collided with a bike and matador.
“Condition of one of the injured is said be critical,” they added.
