Traders Demand Extending Loan Restructuring Time

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Valley based traders on Monday asked J&K Bank to extend continuance of rehabilitation package at least up to end of March, 2017.

KCC&I president, Muhstaq Ahmad Wani, in a statement said that the rehabilitation package for restructuring of loans recently announced by the J&K Bank “has gone a long way to provide an opportunity for rehabilitating the business activity of many a crumbling business entities”.

While appreciating the J&K Bank for taking such initiative, he said that continuance of the package for sometime more would help many more borrowers craving for rehabilitation to come forward and avail the package which in turn could result in positive effect on the health of both the lending institution and the borrower.
