Geelani Expresses Concern Over Arrest Of Kashmiri Trio In Delhi
Octogenarian Hurriyat Patriarch Syed Ali Geelani has expressed concern over the arrests of three youth namely Yawer Muzafar, Waseem Dar and Danish Ahmad Dar by Delhi police and said that Delhi police has a track record of detaining Kashmiri youth on fictitious grounds. Even pedestrians are arrested and convicted in fake cases. No place in India is safe for Kashmiri youth and hundreds of youth were arrested and detained for long periods. It is irony that after snails pace court proceedings and serving long term in detention centres, they are declared innocent.
