Shopian Attack: Locals allege forces of ransacking

Shopian:  The locals of Mullu Chitragam, in Shopian district Thursday alleged army of ransacking their properties and arresting four civilians after militants attacked them in the area.
 

Three army men were killed and many others  sustained injuries after militants ambushed them in Mullu Chitragam, area of Shopian. A Women was also killed after hit by a stray bullet.

Soon after the attack ended,the army men and SOG men barged into our houses and ransacked properties, alleged the locals .

“The men in uniform smashed dozens of parked vehicles and windows of houses in the area including Mullu Chitragam, Trenz etc,” said reports quoting locals

They also alleged that many youth were also beaten and  army arrested Bashir Ahmad Wani and Majid Ahmad Ganai of Mullu and Mohammad Ayoub Mir and Shaheen Ahmad of Chittragam.
