‘Selfie’ Takes Life Of Srinagar Boy

SRINAGAR: A boy died after he was hit by train near Nowgam railway station when he was talking a ‘Selfie’ on railway track, here.

The boy Adnan Mehraj Mir,who is reported to be around 15-year-old hails from Nawpora area of Srinagar but was today at a relative’s home in Nowgam area of Srinagar district.

According to eyewitnesses, railway police cautioned him by whistling but “he had plugged in earphone and the warning felt perverse”.

His head was hit badly, reports said, “part of his brain was on ground when his body was lifted”.
