JAMMU: Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing a suspected militant at the Line of Control (LoC) in Keri sector of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that troopers noticed suspicious movement of a group of militants at midnight
They opened fire after being challenged, triggering a fire fight erupted which lasted for nearly half an hour, said the official.
Body of the militant was recovered along with an AK-47 rifle in the morning, he added.
