New Delhi: Army Chief Bipin Rawat on Wednesday said that those who obstruct army operations during encounters and are not supportive will be treated as overground workers(OGWs) of militants, reports said.
If you raise ISIS flag, you will be treated as anti-national and be ready to face consequences, he said after paying tribute to army men who lost their lives in encounters with militants yesterday.
Rawat also briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the incidents in which the casualties took place.
Major S Dahiya and three other army men were killed yesterday in two encounters in Kashmir.
Dahiya was killed in an encounter in Kralgund area of north Kashmirs Kupwara district where forces killed three militants hiding in a residential house.
Three other army men were killed in an encounter in Hajin area of Bandipora district after forces cordoned off the area following information about presence of militants there.
