Srinagar: Normal life was affected in Kashmir valley on Monday against the killing of two civilians and four militants in Frisal area of Kulgam on Sunday.
The shutdown call was given by the United Resistance Leadership.
All shops and business establishments are closed while as attendance in the government offices was thick due to non availability of transport across the Valley.
Four local militants,two civilians and two army mene killed in Frisal village of Kulgam on Sunday.
Scores were injured in clashes between the forces and protesters near the encounter site .
Meanwhile, authorities have made heavy deployment of police and paramilitary forces to prevent rallies.
“There will be no curfew anywhere in the valley,” S.J.M. Gilani, inspector general of police (IGP) Kashmir zone, told the media here
