Four J&K Bank employees killed in road accident in Kathua

Jammu:  Four employees of J&K Bank Monday were killed in a road accident when a car, they were travelling in, collided head on with a bus in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“The incident took place when the car en route to Kathua from Jammu, accidentally crossed the road divider and collided with the bus going towards Jammu near Sodhi Resort in Barnoti area of Kathua,” a police official here said.

He said that all the deceased  were employees of the J&K Bank and were posted in Pathankot.

The deceased were identified as Rakesh Charak, Mohan Singh, Ajay Koul and Anil Gupta.

“The bodies are shifted to Kathua district hospital and will be handed to the families after the post-mortem,” police said.
