LFB to hold three-day-workshop on Prosody and rhetoric in1st-week of April             

Bandipora: Literary Forum Bandipora a sister organisation of Jammu and Kashmir Adbi Markaz Kamraz is set to hold a three-day workshop on prosody and rhetoric in the month of April. The aim of the workshop is to develop the literary skills among the literati and young prospering poets across the state.

The venue for the Three-day workshop on prosody (Arooz) and rhetoric’s (Ballaagat) set to be held in the first week of April will be announced later.

The decision was taken on Saturday in the executive meeting conducted under the chairmanship of President LFB Mubashir Nazki here at Tanveer Manzil Muslimabad in which all the members had threadbare discussion on many issues regarding the forthcoming activities proposed by the forum.

During the meeting, members pledged to fight for the safeguard of sanctity and principles of its parent organisation Jammu and Kashmir Adbi Markaz Kamraz.

“We are the among the basic members of JKAMK and we are here to uphold the constitution of the same” members said in unison, adding “we will fight the literary miscreants and all the elements conspiring against the sanctity of AMK”, they said.

Meanwhile, members complained that the broadcasting media in the said is prejudice while providing a platform to the literary person or poets.

 White castigating the role of media institutions in  providing the platform to poets or writers forum members said that only well connected poets are writers are providing opportunity in these institutions while unrepresented hardly get the chance.

Forum members appealed President JKAMK Dr. Shujaat Bukhari and General Secretary Amin  Bhat to take up the issue with the so that the unrepresented poets and writers will get the chance to interact with the people through such media institutions.

“JKAMK is helping the writers and poets but more practical steps to help unrepresented writers and poets across the state who are facing hardships while publicizing their written expression,” members said.

President LFB Mubashir Nazki in his concluding remarks said that LFB is the part of JKAMK and will remain its part till it functions.

He said that every member of LFB is a soldier of JKAMK and will fight for the safeguard of its constitution wherever and whenever needed.

Praising the contribution of Prof Rashid Nazki in the developing the JKAMK, Mubashir said that Prof Nazki has utilized everything for the strengthening of JKAMK so will do LFB and its members.

Later Nazki thanked all the people and agencies who helped in making the Nazki day a successful event.
