Kashmir and Palestine suffering at hands of ‘occupying forces’:Pak

Islamabad: Pakistan president Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday said that the people of Palestine and Kashmir are suffering at the hands of “occupying forces.”

The Pak president made the reports during his meet at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas, Radio Pakistan reported.

Both the leaders have stressed the need for early and just resolution of Palestine and Kashmir issues, said the report.

They called upon the international community to urge Israel to halt expansion of settlements and play its due role in resolving the longstanding Palestine issue.

“The President stated that the people of Pakistan have great affection for the people of Palestine and the Palestinian cause,” the report added.
