Two Persons Die In Road Accidents

SRINAGAR:  Two persons died in two separate road accidents in Srinagar and Baramulla, police said on Wednesday.

In Srinagar, a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK05E-6683 hit and injured a girl identified as Mehak, daughter of Abdul Hameed Khuroo, resident of New Colony Palpora at Umarabad, Goripora.

“The injured girl was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard,” police informed.

In Baramulla, a Maruti car hit and injured a lady identified as Zubaida Begum, wife of Abdul Rehman Wani, resident of Harinara Mirgund at Singhpora, Pattan.
