Srinagar: J&K Unit of Indian National Congress on Monday blamed PDP-BJP Coalition Government for mass discontent and alienation of the people in the State.
Addressing a daylong meeting of senior party functionaries of Kashmir province, State Congress President G A Mir blamed the Government for ignoring the genuine concerns and needs of the people in all the three regions and accused it for creating inconvenience thereby putting people to great hardships in every respect.
He blamed PDP BJP for mass discontent and alienation of people, as result people are feeling isolated.
Lashing out anti people policies of State Government, Mir hit out at Government out for being ignorant about the genuine concerns and issues confronting people, he accused the PDP BJP coalition for lack of policy about the overall development of the State and wellbeing of the people, even they are being denied their basic rights.
He said Coalition partners have failed the people miserably on every count, besides betraying them on certain sensitive issues for the sake of coming into power.
This Government has not even been able to ensure the Electricity and other essentials to people in these days of harsh winter, causing great inconvenience to people for not fault for theirs and it seems that people are being punished under the garb of load shedding etc. Whatever PDP-BJP promised to people during their electioneering in 2014 have fallen flat, rather the misrule and mismanagement by them have added miseries to people, he added.
Mir, according to CNS, said, employment has risen considerably, daily rated workers, casual labours, who are serving in different departments for a long are not being regularized merely on political and party lines and it is evident that PDP-BJP government are trying to adjust their blue-eyed persons and party workers to gain political mileage out of the regularization process, which is fraught with dangerous consequences.
I want to ask both PDP-BJP combine, how long it will continue to befool the people on the issue of employment, development, revocation of AFSPA, Agenda of Allianceetc etc, but I want to tell them ( PDP BJP) that people of the State have realized that they have been misled and betrayed for the sake of Power by the Coalition Govt and have lost trust in the present dispensation, he added.
