Jammu: At least three people were killed and 15 injured when a passenger taxi they were travelling in, met with an accident in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“An overloaded taxi carrying 19 passengers on board yesterday turned turtle near Bhamagh in Reasi,” police sources here today said.
They said that three people, including two women, died on the spot while 15 sustained injuries. The deceased were identified as Taro Devi of Tote, Ashana Bibi of Ladda and Jagdish Singh of Devi Garh. Police said that the driver managed to escape from the spot.
