Srinagar: An ambulance belonging to Al-Hilal Diagnostic Center, Kara Nagar has been stolen during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
Al-Hilal is the medical division of Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Foundation.
The ambulance bearing number JK01P-4492, was parked outside the diagnostic center and the driver was putting up in the diagnostic center for the night, Central Executive Committee member Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Foundation Muhammad Rafiq Lone told CNS .
He said that the driver had put up the vehicle outside the center on Monday afternoon after performing his duties.
When he went out Tuesday morning for his routine, the vehicle was missing, he said.
When contacted, a police official from Karan Nagar Police Station said that a formal case has been registered and efforts are on to trace the ambulance. (CNS)
