Srinagar: An award function took place at India international centre New Delhi in which selected teachers, lecturers and principals from all states of India were awarded by MVLA trust Mumbai which is NGO of international reputation and works exclusively for upliftment of teacher community.
From Jammu and Kashmir Dr Rouf Hamza Boda was given the global role model teacher award for his contribution to education sector.
Dr Rouf has completed his PhD from Department of Botany university of Kashmir and is presently working as a lecturer in Govt HSS Doru Shahbad.
He was earlier bestowed with innovative science teacher award by JK council for science and technology.
He has published several national and internal papers and science articles besides this he recorded several lectures for T.V channels. He has served dept since 2009 with full zeal.
He also coordinated CMS winter tutorials at Government Higher Secondary School Doru Shahbad in which about nine hundred students got free coaching and was biggest such centre in J&K. (KNS)
